Coward Shot Puppy For No Reason & Left Him In The Bushes To Bleed Out
The Pell City Police Department is desperately searching for the person responsible for shooting a puppy in Pell City, Alabama, writes ilovemydogsomuch
A coward shot the pup on Sunday night around 8 p.m. in the 100 block of Shady Dale.
A good Samaritan spotted the bleeding pup lying in the bushes and contacted the Pell City Police Department, who rushed the dog to Pell City Animal Hospital.
“Despite the pain he was suffering when he arrived at our clinic, this precious baby was still wagging his tail during initial treatments,” Pell City Animal Hospital wrote on Facebook.
Luckily, the pup is expected to make a full recovery, but he still has a long way to go. Police were thankfully able to locate the owner, and the dog and owner have since been reunited.
Since the vet bills are stacking up, the Friends the Pell City Animal Shelter are collecting donations to help pay for the dog’s medical expenses.
“A coward shot this animal for no apparent reason except to inflict pain and bodily injury,” the police wrote on Facebook.
