After months of failure, the rescuers decided to work with the local community in hopes of rescuing the dogs before winter.
Ryan, a carpenter who would leave food for the 2 dogs, had noticed that Bonnie was heavily pregnant. But one day, both the dogs disappeared, prompting an anxious Ryan to call the rescuers again.
After searching through the woods for 3 days, Ryan and a rescuer were finally able to hear Clyde’s barks. As they followed the sound, they found a drenched and shivering Bonnie desperately trying to keep her newborn litter warm. Poor thing!
The suffering family was rushed to the shelter where the weakened mama dog and her puppies received much-needed medical intervention just in the nick of time. Under the supervision of the rescuers, Bonnie now began raising her puppies in comfort.
The shelter has updated that the puppies will soon be moving to their new homes, while Mama Bonnie has already been adopted by Ryan. Thanks to some lovely humans, this furry family’s winter nightmare is over for good! What a sweet miracle!
