Hit By A Car & Left To Die In The Street, Emma’s Journey Was Far From Over
Emma was rescued by Howl Of A Dog from a public pound, where she was found injured, severely underweight, and suffering from bad mange, writes ilovemydogsomuch
Her exact past is unknown, but rescuers believe she was living as a stray and had been hit by a car before she was picked up and brought to the pound.
Sadly, she received no medical care at the pound, and she painfully deteriorated every day.
Thankfully, Howl Of A Dog got her the medical care she needed, and she underwent femoral head osteotomy surgery, which helped her walk again.
Her left eye is underdeveloped and permanently covered by the third eyelid, and while it isn’t causing her any pain, she has no vision on that side. Despite that, Emma is still able to get around just like any other dog.
Emma is an extremely sweet dog who wished for a loving home. Luckily, her wish has come true!
She is now living an amazing life in France with her adoptive mom, Auriane. She even has a new guinea pig brother, Harvey, who she has developed an adorable friendship with, and a doggy sister, Eva.
