The dark brown dog in this video was rescued from a pipe where she had been living all her life. She was waist-deep in mud, and day-to-day survival was a major challenge for her. As for the blonde dog, she was living with a pack of feral dogs for about a year before finally getting rescued.

Both the dogs were extremely skittish and shut off. They absolutely refused to have any interaction with humans whatsoever. Their lives as unloved dogs had clearly taken a toll on them. The rehab’s behaviorist determined that the dogs were incredibly scared of humans and it was almost impossible to get them to trust people again.

One of the shelter workers had just rescued a helpless Beagle puppy named Serendipity from a bad situation. When she saw the plight of the 2 dogs, she immediately thought of introducing the orphaned puppy to the 2 dogs.

In this video, we see the worker approaching the 2 dogs with Serendipity in her arms. The dogs initially watch the puppy from afar. But soon, their motherly instincts take over and they come forward to embrace the puppy. Gradually, they stop maintaining a distance from the woman, and seem perfectly comfortable having a human around!

The center has updated that with the help of Serendipity’s love, the 2 dogs were rehabilitated within a matter of weeks! They have now been adopted into loving families and are living the good life. It’s compelling to see how simple acts of love and kindness can heal a dog with a rough past! Cheers to this happy ending!
