The lifeless Pit Bull puppy, later named Kane, was tied up with a rope and meticulously stuffed into 2 trash bags to ensure he died “noiselessly”. It was indeed a miracle that a vigilant passerby found him buried in the heap of trash and decided to alert Animal Control. As Kane still had a pulse when he was found, he was quickly transferred to a local shelter for emergency care.

While Kane was not expected to survive, his caretakers worked tirelessly through the night to keep him warm. The poor thing could barely breathe due to the prolonged suffocation that severely damaged his lungs. But thankfully, the timely medical attention helped him pull through despite the many odds!

Kane was later transferred to a foster home under the supervision of South Charlotte Dog Rescue. He made a resilient recovery within weeks, and is now waiting to find a nurturing forever home. His foster parents are touched by his incredibly sweet and affectionate personality even after enduring such disturbing cruelty early on in his life.

Meanwhile, the authorities are working hard to find the despicable monster who mercilessly disposed Kane like a piece of trash. They are currently scanning through available surveillance footage, and have requested the public to come forward with any information that can lead to the abuser. Let’s get the word out and make sure little Kane’s ex-owner pays for this sickening crime.
