The Humane Society of the United States responded to allegations of abuse and hoarding of animals on a property in Kingman County, Kansas. They arrived on scene to find around 30 dogs, two cats, two burros, and a horse being neglected in the worst way, writes ilovemydogsomuch
It was time to save them all.
The first dog to catch their attention was an old girl sitting on the front porch, and the flies had already gathered around. The dog was so sweet and friendly despite everything she’d been through, and now she was finally going to be rewarded in life.
This was the beginning of a new chapter for Elsie, and it’s thanks to the hard work of the Humane Society and all of their supporters! They continue to fight for the rights of animals everywhere, and it’s amazing to see. Here’s to Elsie living her best life going forward!
