Stranger Fulfills 97-Year-Old’s Bucket List Wish, Helps Her Ride A Horse Again
One of 97-year-old Janet Fauks’ happiest memories from her girlhood days was that of riding Morgan horses, which was one of the earliest breeds developed in the US. In spite of her illnesses and fragile body, she wanted one last ride on a horse, writes ilovemydogsomuch
As a passionate equestrian, it was one of her bucket-list wishes to be able to ride a horse again. She was determined to get back on the saddle, and she just wouldn’t take no for an answer. So her family reached out to the Cottonwood Creek Ranch, to help Janet fulfill her wish.
The staff at the ranch knew that Stretch would be the perfect Morgan horse for Janet’s purpose. Janet was moved to tears the moment she set eyes on him. Even her family was overwhelmed to see Janet get so emotional.
Janet and Stretch bonded in an instant, as the gentle steed would walk and ride with her, and let her reminisce the golden days of the past. We’re in happy tears as we witness Janet’s beautiful and eventful day with Stretch. These memories are indeed very precious!
