Little Boy Wants To Save Old Horse From Kill-Buyer, Cries & Prays For A Miracle
A little boy in Mississippi rode a 30-year-old horse for the first time and instantly fell in love with the senior horse. The boy’s grandpa saw the smile on the boy’s face and decided to gift him that very horse, writes ilovemydogsomuch
The boy excitedly followed his grandpa to the horse auction, knowing that the horse would be his by the end of the day. But, at the auction, a kill-buyer, known for sending horses to slaughterhouses, took a penchant for the old horse and started bidding.
Unfortunately, Grandpa’s bids fell short, as the kill-buyer kept raising his bids. The little boy realized what was happening, and tearfully prayed for a miracle. His prayers were answered when Jennifer Aylesworth of Rocking R Ranch and Rescue spotted them.
Jennifer would often go to horse auctions for rescues. She would try to outbid horses who were being eyed by kill buyers, then find families to re-home them. So, that day too, she ended up outbidding the kill Buyer and saving the horse!
After the auction, Jennifer approached Grandpa and the little boy, and asked them to keep the horse! Grandpa couldn’t believe this kind offer, but Jennifer assured them to proceed with the adoption. The boy was overjoyed and hugged Jennifer! We are glad angels like Jennifer are around to keep an eye on these lovely creatures!
