Harland suffered 2 broken legs and damaged lungs, among other injuries. The vet staff at Animal Care Center of Fairfield have put him under special treatment, but they fear that one of his legs might need amputation due to the severity of the damage. Apart from that, Harland’s health is on the mend and he might soon be up for adoption.

Harland’s caretakers say that the little pooch is a loving and amiable boy in spite of his brutal ordeal with his previous owners. They believe that he is an American Bulldog mix. Currently, the investigators are following up on various leads that could help track down Harland’s shameless owners.

Harland’s injuries could have been easily avoided if his owners responsibly surrendered him to a shelter instead of abandoning him so recklessly. If you have any information that could help the cops find Harland’s owners, you can drop in the tip to Officer Fath at 513-728-3182 or email the same to mthpdcrimetips@mthealthy.org.
