Dog Found Cowering Under Porch Dying, Takes On A New Life By The End And Is Transformed
Rescuers from Animal Aid Unlimited, a rescue organization in India, spotted a street dog suffering from severe mange, writes ilovemydogsomuch
His body was covered in scabs and his skin was so itchy that he wounded himself from scratching so much. Maggots had also made a deep hole in his back.
The poor dying dog was cowering under a porch, suffering in agony as he waited to die. But rescuers refused to let him get to that point.
They got ahold of him and brought him back to their clinic where they treated him for the infection and killed the maggots with a medicated powder. They bandaged him up and gave him IV fluids to help hydrate him.
After several days of letting him settle in, they gave him a medicated bath to treat his mange and help his fur grow back.
The dog who was once starving, exhausted and dying is now completely unrecognizable. Animal Aid helped heal him from the inside out and today he is such a happy dog.
They decided to name him Mr. Teddy Bear, which is a very fitting name since he is so fluffy and loveable. He’s so friendly and loves giving kisses to everyone he meets. He will now live out the rest of his life at their sanctuary where he will be well-taken care of and won’t ever have to worry about being neglected ever again!
