He Shook With Fear As His Blind Eyes Prevented Him From Seeing World Around Him
Hope For Paws received a call regarding a homeless dog who needed there help, writes ilovemydogsomuch
Rescuers thought they were responding to a call about a dog who had been hit by a car, but what they didn’t know was that the dog was paralyzed with fear because he was blind.
When they arrived at the scene, they gave him a treat to distract him while they secured him with a gentle snare.
He showed his teeth and was very nervous, but rescuers assumed it was because he was in pain. Once they got him up, they realized that he didn’t have any broken bones.
He finally allowed them to pet him once he realized that they were there to help.
They decided to name him Dolittle, and brought him to Paw-llywood Pet Spa for a much-needed bath. At the groomers is when rescuers realized that he was partially blind!
Soon after, Dolittle underwent eye surgery by Dr. Christin Fahrer, which helped him regain his sight!
Her recovery was long, but L.A. Animal Rescue helped Dolittle trust people again.
