Speranza Animal Rescue founder Janine Guido was driving through a bent area in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, after receiving a call from a stray dog that had been abandoned. When she saw the dog, she tried to approach her to determine what she was going to do.

She said the dog initially showed her growling and teeth with some barking like retaliation! So she continued to follow her for 10 minutes, then the dog suddenly stopped!

It was a great chance for Janine, who saved a dog named Dolly. Dolly was a bit like a small child and curled up in a ball in Janine’s lap after she knew she was there to help.
