He Spent 12 Yrs Living On The Streets After His Whole Family Was Rescued But Him

Brown Dog had lived on the streets of Selma, California for 12 years writes ilovemydogsomuch.tv

He had made the streets his home, protected the little strays in the area, and has the scars to prove it.

Brown’s mom was also a stray and had given birth to Brown and his siblings on the streets. Sadly, Brown’s family was found and brought to a shelter, but he was left behind.

While living on the streets, Brown had suffered at the hands of evil humans. Because of this, he wasn’t very trusting of people. There were a couple of homeless people who would feed Brown and look after him, but he wasn’t even so trusting of them.

One day, he was caught by animal control, but he somehow managed to escape the shelter kennels and went back to life on the streets.

Thankfully, he was finally rescued by people who cared. Rescuers brought him to ‘Disabled R Elderly Animal Mountain Sanctuary’ (DREAMS), where he felt a human’s loving touch for the first time.

He tried to avoid being pet, but allowed it and didn’t show any signs of aggression, although he was very timid.

It will definitely take Brown some time to adjust to life in the country, rather than the streets of the city, but at least he is now safe.

At the sanctuary, Brown got to relax in a little doggy pool and sleep on a comfortable bed.

This marks the start of learning to trust humans and being part of a real family!
