All of the dogs suffered their whole lives, forced to live in filthy wire cages with no food, water or vet care. The females had litter after litter, and the males were used for breeding until they were deemed useless and sent off to be slaughtered for their meat.

Lou was one of the females who was bred over and over until her weak body couldn’t take it anymore. Her poor puppies were ripped from her each time to be used for the dog meat trade.

Thankfully, those horrifying days are now over for Lou. The Humane Society of the United States rescued Lou and the other dogs and successfully shut down that dog meat farm.

Rescuers emptied every single cage and brought all of the dogs to safety and to finally get the proper vet care.

But out of all the dogs that were saved, none of them were more excited than Lou. As she was freed from her misery, Lou wagged her tail and jumped around with joy. She was so relieved to finally be shown love and attention.
