When rescuers arrived, they saw the cat lying down next to a car. They carefully approached her and put some food on the ground. As they got closer, they reached out to pet her. Much to their surprise, the cat didn’t run away, and allowed rescuers to scratch her head.

She was extremely friendly and sweet and understood that Wiltz was there to help her.

She scooped her up, put her in a cage and brought her to the vet clinic. She decided to name this adorable kitty, Angel Face.

After an examination at the vet, Angel Face was diagnosed with cryptococcus, a fungal infection. Although it is treatable, it takes many months of expensive oral anti-fungal medications.

Unfortunately, she also tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus, which she will also receive treatment for.

Angel Face will continue to receive treatments for her ailments and is now being fostered by Let Them Be Little Feline Rescue, until she is fully recovered and healthy enough to go to a forever home.

If you’re interested in adopting sweet Angel Face once she is ready, please contact the rescue directly at ltblrescue.org.
