Sir Stuffington was found as a stray in Troutdale, Oregon, and was taken into Multnomah County Animal Services, where he underwent emergency surgery to repair his wounds. In addition to his missing eye and damaged jaw, Sir Stuffington also had an upper respiratory infection, a heart murmur, and was covered in fleas and dirt. When he first arrived at the hospital, vets weren’t even sure whether he’d even survive because of how severe his injuries were, but he defied all the odds.

He may have had a rough start to life, but the months that followed were a breath of fresh air for this tough kitty. Sir Stuffington went on to live in a foster home, where he instantly connected with his new mom and cat siblings, and was eventually permanently adopted.

Sir Stuffington went from a tiny injured kitty who struggled to survive, to now a grown cat who is happy and enjoying his beautiful second chance at life. He still may look different, but he still plays, naps, and acts just like any other cat. He is the epitome of a fighter, and his story just goes to show that you should never give up on someone, especially an animal, even if things seem grim!
