Family Gave Dog Away For Free To Psychopath Who Tied Her Up In Boiling Heat
When you adopt a dog, it is a commitment for the dog’s entire life. The dog becomes part of your family and should be loved as so, writes ilovemydogsomuch
But of course under certain circumstances beyond their control, some owners have no choice but to give their dog up for the animal’s sake. When this happens, it’s best to contact a local animal rescue or shelter who could either take the dog in or find them a good home.
The worst thing you could do is give the dog away for free, because it’s possible they could end up in a very bad situation.
Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened to poor Phoebe.
For whatever reason, her owners gave her away for free to someone who ended up being a cruel psychopath. The new owner tied her up and abandoned her in nearly 100-degree heat to die.
She was left with a small bucket of water, but had quickly drank it all and had no more water for the rest of the time that she was tied up out there.
Thankfully some kids in the area found her and contacted Sidewalk Outreach for help. Volunteers quickly arrived at the scene to cut the seven-year-old dog free.
Phoebe loves everyone, including kids and other dogs, and is now looking for a forever home.
