Sadly, police say the 34-year-old man left behind a slew of dogs and cats when he was evicted. After McCloy and other residents in the home were evicted, weeks later troopers received a phone call about barking dogs inside the property. Troopers entered the home through an open window and made a gruesome discovery. They found the dead bodies of three dead dogs and two living dogs inside. In addition, two cats were located.

Both of the living dogs are one-year-old Pit Bull mixes who had scars on their bodies, urine burns on their paws and faces, and had no food or water. The two cats seemed relatively healthy considering the conditions in which they lived. The dead dogs were removed and are having necropsies performed on them. McCloy relinquished his rights to the remaining animals to All But Forgotten rescue.
