A little puppy named Harper was born with Swimmer Puppy Syndrome, an uncommon developmental deformity of newborn dogs and cats in which the legs are splayed out resulting in an inability to stand or walk, writes ilovemydogsomuch
But instead of properly caring for her, her family tossed her out in the trash can.
Thankfully, a woman ended up finding Harper before it was too late. And she knew she had to do something to help. She immediately took the dog home where she made some calls to find the dog the therapy and care she needed. And ultimately, her research and hard work would all pay off…
Harper would go from paralyzed to eventually being able to walk! No one thought the pup would even survive, but one woman saw some hope and gave her the second chance she needed. Take a look at Harper now — she’s a miracle dog!
