The poor dog had some sort of rope tied tightly around her waist. It was restricting her body so badly that it left a painful indent on her belly. But despite needing help, the dog was petrified of people. The rescuers followed the dog but she kept running away.â

Her blood results showed extensive kidney disease, but she didn’t die alone. She was surrounded by love in a warm blanket with people who cared very much. Our hearts are broken over this loss. I Love My Dog reminds our readers to get in touch with local animal control or a local rescue if you can no longer care for your pets. It is never a viable option to abandon or dump an innocent animal, as the outcome will likely be harm, abuse, death, or all three. Rest in peace, sweet girl.

Now it was time to rest and heal! The dog was still wary of humans but slowly began to realize that these humans were gentle and would never hurt her. Plus, they brought her food and treats! Within a few days, she began to perk up. Her new human friends were thrilled!

The best part is what happens after the brave girl starts to feel a whole lot better. As you’ll see in the video below, she finally wags her tail. It may not seem like a big deal to many but for a dog that was suffering like she was and was so fearful of people, her tail wags were a huge victory. We love this rescue and you will too!
