She is now in foster care and will soon be transferred to a different foster home, where she will continue her recovery and get used to walking on three legs.

Sadly, it’s been difficult for rescues to get donations in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, which makes it difficult for Carly’s caretakers to afford her medical bills.

Through this trying time, adoption coordinator Anita Spreitzer still won’t give up on trying to find Carly a home, as well as all of the other dogs at her shelter.

Once Carly learns to walk on three legs, she will be available for adoption. Hopefully she finds a loving home very soon!
