A kind animal rescuer named Cortesía-Dalia Gámez found Boby starving and in pain, and decided to give him a chance.
She took Boby to the vet’s, where he was found to be 2-years-old. Since he was still so young, the doctors believed that Boby could beat the cancer with the help of chemotherapy. However, Boby’s malnourished state made it difficult for him to withstand the aggressive chemo sessions.
At this crucial moment, Dalia decided to be Boby’s one true support. She would try to cheer Boby up and stick by his side, and soon, Boby started responding to the treatment. Within 2 months, Boby made a miraculous recovery!
Boby’s wounded coat began to heal too, and shiny healthy fur grew to adorn his body. His intense survival story and jolly, frisky demeanor earned him some fame in Dalia’s neighborhood and people lined up to get a glimpse of him!
