Owner Mercilessly Discards Newborn Puppy After She Was Born Without Front Legs
A tiny dog was found abandoned inside a box on the side of the road. She laid curled up in the box, unable to move and confused as to what was happening to her, writes ilovemydogsomuch
When rescuers pulled her out of the box, they realized why she was unable to leave the box. The pint-sized puppy didn’t have her two front legs, which is why someone most likely discarded her in the first place.
They decided to name her “Light,” in the hopes that she will have a bright future.
They brought Light to a local animal hospital for examination, where vets determined that she was only three weeks old and that her front legs were missing due to a birth defect.
Despite only having two legs, Light is still healthy and still deserves to live a full life just like any other dog. She has a huge personality in a little body, and even took steps on her own.
Light has since been adopted by a loving family and is enjoying her second chance at life.
