Golden Retriever That’s Obsessed With Animals Takes A Tour Of The Aquarium
I think that all of us enjoy going to the aquarium, but for a golden retriever from Tampa, Florida, it was the trip of a lifetime. That golden retriever, Kevin, was able to see the new habitat at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, writes blog.therainforestsite.greatergood
He even made a friend or two.
Kevin is only a year old but he already has over 200,000 Instagram followers. People know him because of his hat collection, and because of his adventures.
It seems as if Kevin isn’t the only one who loves ducks. There is a dolphin named Winter at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium who loves ducks as well. Before Kevin came to visit, Winter sent a video along with Katie Wojdyla, his care specialist, to show off his favorite toy, a rubber ducky. He even asked for a play date.
If that wasn’t adorable enough, they planned a meet up while they were face timing. Elysse Gorney, Kevin’s owner, talked to Travel + Leisure about the field trip, which took place on August 7. “Kevin had the entire aquarium to himself and he met so many new friends,” Gorney said.
Winter has been the star of a number of movies, including Dolphin Tale and Dolphin Tale 2. He rose to fame after his tail got caught in a crab trap, so now he has a prosthetic tail. When Kevin was visiting, he also met other dolphins at the aquarium – Hope, PJ, Nicholas, and Hemingway. He even was able to take a swim, which is every retriever’s dream.
