Emaciated Dog With Broken Leg Walks Two Miles, Seeking Help For Puppies

There is no better example of a mother’s love than in the case of a very sick Ibizan Hound dog and what she did to save the lives of her pups.
The sweet, sick and emaciated dog walked a two-mile journey to get help. She had a broken leg, visible signs of neglect with ribs showing, and yet her motherly instincts kicked in.
She sought help by leading a woman to an abandoned car. The woman could hardly believe it, as there was a litter of puppies inside waiting for their mom’s return.
Can you imagine the pain the mama dog went through walking to get help? Her heart was much bigger than her injuries because she succeeded.
The dog’s named Vera, and it is reported that all the pups are doing great. Vera’s broken leg is healing now that she has proper care.
What a loving example of what a mom will do for her babies. Way to go, sweet Vera!
