Owner Dumps Sick Puppy On The Side Of The Road, Puppy Struggles To Survive

Both the dogs were badly afflicted with a slew of diseases, the most severe ones being skin ailments. Their owner obviously didn’t want anything to do with sick puppies, and didn’t even have the decency to take them to the vet or surrender them to a shelter.
When a local animal rescuer named Takis heard about Thelma and Louise, he immediately brought them to his shelter on the island of Crete. While Louise was quick to respond to the treatment, Thelma’s condition didn’t seem very promising. A large part of her body was covered in dreadful scales and scabs and her healing progress almost seemed negligible.
Just when Thelma’s future seemed uncertain, her fortune took an unusual turn. A generous cat family living at the shelter sensed Thelma’s survival troubles and took it upon themselves to lift her spirits. They surrounded the ailing pooch’s bed and provided her with the much-needed warmth and support as they begged her to hold on. A recovering Louise also joined in their efforts and motivated Thelma to fight for her life.
Over the next few days, the cat family refused to leave Thelma’s side and continued nurturing her with their unconditional love. Finally, the miracle happened and she started gaining her strength. After that, there was no looking back for Thelma as she gradually blossomed into a gorgeous girl – just like her sister! Thelma and Louise’s heartwarming recovery and stunning transformation has warmed up our hearts!
