In recent days, on a frequent visit to places where he knows there are dogs in severely unhygienic and desolate conditions, picked out by the people who dispose of them, Taki came across a dog howling under the tires of a car.
“I constantly visit areas chosen by people to abandon their dogs when they no longer want them. This time, under the tires of a large gondola,” lamented the volunteer.
He never imagined how he would find the animal.
The truth is, upon hearing the dog’s sad wails, he approached the huge wheel and observed the dog’s face emerging through a crack.
From the first moment, the canine was nervous and very afraid to leave. She shuddered when they grabbed her, it felt like her little heart was going to burst out of her chest.
As is natural in such cases, at all times he showed distrust.
However, with patience, dedication, devotion to his work, a little food, and, yes, triple the love and sensitivity for those who suffer the most, Taki managed to lure the frightened hairy girl and save her.
Despite all his long experience in the field of rescuing pets in difficult situations, seeing her so thin, the man could not help but cry. He lamented then and more than ever, that there are still people who leave animals lying around as if they were useless garbage.
But, as we see, there are always people against this kind of action, who will give their lives if necessary to rescue and activate for the sake of animal welfare. Actually, not everything is so bad, there are people who recognize dogs for what they really are: sentient beings.
“You could tell he hadn’t been out of there for several days. He was probably left there and being used to a house it wasn’t easy for him to interact with other dogs,” Taki added.
Fortunately, the rescuer didn’t stop until he was able to hold the dog, which was just skin and bones. From that day on, they decided to call her Luna.
And like the new moon, she was then reborn to a new life without pain.
He gained confidence in humans and other dogs.
It can be said that he started on the road to happiness, leaving forever the humiliation, sadness, and loneliness.
