The clip, that went viral on TikTok has been viewed millions of times, when uploaded, Sierra wrote: “My daughter and myself at the alpaca farm boutique in Medina, Ohio, the beginning of October. We were just feeding the animals and the baby came running towards it’s mother. The end results were us saying awww at the end.”

Kitten With Perfectly Imperfect Face Melts Hearts All Over The World (9 Pics)

Meet Pinocchio, an adorable little kitten who has a perfectly imperfect crooked face caused by an abnormality at birth.

The unique thing about Pinocchio is that he seems completely unaware that he is any different, and doesn’t let anything hold him back from living a full life.

Jacqueline Santiago runs the Friends for Life Rescue Network and fell in love with Pinocchio the moment she saw him. She was surprised at how unique he really was when meeting him in real life.

“I couldn’t really make out what was going on with his face until he arrived,” Santiago told The Dodo. “He was very, very sweet upon first meetings,” Santiago said. “[He] purred right away.”

“Pinocchio isn’t the shy type,” she continued. “He’s extremely confident and greets everyone almost immediately.”

“He runs up to anyone who enters the room and climbs up to their shoulder to perch,” she added. “He rubs on you, loves to play, and bounces around. He’s a really happy guy who loves everyone — other people, other cats, and dogs.”

He is only able to eat wet food due to his misaligned jaw and has had some medical issues during his stay at the foster home.

Now Pinocchio is slowly healing, but it is hard to say how his health problems will progress into adulthood.

“During treatment, we don’t accept any apps or inquiries as we don’t yet have the full scope of what his later needs will be,” Santiago said. “We know what his needs are now, but as he grows and changes, those could change as well.”

Hopefully, he will find a forever family that loves him for who he is, and can meet his special needs.

Incredible Moment A Blackbird Hitches A Ride On An Ospreys Stick

Jocelyn Anderson has been photographing birds for over 5 years in an attempt to learn more about them and connect with them.

One day, while out taking photos of some Great Blue Heron nestlings, she saw a once-in-a-lifetime scene unravel right in front of her eyes, and she managed to capture it on camera.

It was a red-winged blackbird hitching a ride on a stick that an osprey was taking back to its nest.

She uploaded the photo online, and it instantly became a viral sensation.

“The osprey adjusted its course so it was flying towards me and I could see that the osprey was carrying a stick for its nest,” Anderson says to My Modern Met.

“The blackbird continued its chasing, and at one point it looked like the blackbird was going for a ride on the stick. I was surprised that the blackbird followed the osprey halfway across the pond; I like to think the blackbird was enjoying the free ride.”

Jocelyn Anderson is a talented photographer, and photos like this are what make all her work worthwhile, “Bird photography is a challenge, but it’s a wonderful one and a great way to get a glimpse into their world.”

Tough Kitten Half The Size Of Others Is Determined To Live A Full Life

This tiny kitten who is just half the size of your average house cat was rescued along with 10 of her siblings but was the only one to survive

Meet Hope, the survivor kitty!

Hope and her 11 siblings were rescued by the Nevada SPCA No-Kill Animal Shelter, they came along with their mother and father

“We don’t know how she had a litter of 11, but they were all hers. They came from a bad hoarding situation. Even though the kittens were with their mom they started getting sick,” said their foster mother Patricia Rusek to Love Meow.

One by one, the kittens’ health deteriorated and they began passing away. Only Hope and her sister were left at six weeks old along with their mother

Unfortunately, their mother stopped feeding them, prompting Patricia to start feeding them. Hope’s sister Angel fought hard but eventually succumbed to an infection

“Then there was only one left which I named Hope. Out of 11 kittens, she was the last one still hanging on.”

“I was worried sick everyday hand feeding her urgent care food with supplements daily. She had to be fed every two hours small amounts like a bottle baby even though she was older because she was that tiny,” said Patricia.

Hope eventually started coming around and became more and more energetic and keen to eat

“She is very tiny for her age but day by day even though she wasn’t growing she gained more energy, started fattening up her belly and becoming more healthy,” Patricia told Love Meow.

Tiny Hope eventually became close with another average-sized foster kitten named Logan and began spending all their time together

They keep each other company all day, they each together and even sleep together in their favorite bed

“She runs and plays like a normal kitten her age so she is developing great just not size wise she will definitely be a small cat.”

Hope is always seeking love and attention, and to be honest, who can say no to that face.

“She’s growing very slowly but growing.”

It is truly a miracle that the kitty only weighs 1.78 pounds at 3.5 months old.

“She is happy, healthy, loves people and other kittens. She is growing a tiny bit at a time, and I’m so happy she made it,” said Patricia

Dogs Trained To Protect Wildlife Save Over 45 Rhinos From Poachers

Dogs are our best friends, it’s something we have heard a lot before. They’re smart, loyal, goofy and always have your back.

A K9 response unit in South Africa is making itself known for fighting poachers and protecting wildlife, even better than humans.

Whether Beagle or bloodhound, no dog is too small to be part of the team. They boast a success rate of 68 per cent, compared to the 5 per cent when they aren’t around.

They begin their training when they are just small puppies and grow into adult dogs that provide great assistance to the park rangers.

In fact, they’ve already saved over 45 rhinos from being poached in South Africa.

A ‘K9 Master’ named Johan van Straaten at the college says: “The data we collect for this applied learning project, aimed at informing best practice, shows we have prevented approximately 45 rhinos being killed since the free tracking dogs became operational in February 2018.”

South Africas is home to 80% of the worlds rhino population, and therefore the job that these dogs do is crucial for their survival.

“In the areas where the Southern African Wildlife College patrol, the success rate of the dogs is around 68 percent using both on and off-leash free tracking dogs, compared to between three to five percent with no canine capacity,” van Straaten said.

“The game-changer has been the free tracking dogs who are able to track at speeds much faster than a human can, in terrain where the best human trackers would lose spoor.”

“They begin training from birth and are socialized from a very young age. They learn how to track, bay at a person in a tree, and follow basic obedience,” he explained.

South Africa is hit hardest by rhino poachers due to the high population and high number of poachers, therefore there is nowhere better for this project to be active.

“At six months we put all that training together more formally—they do have the necessary skill set to do the work at a younger age, but are not mature enough to handle all the pressures of real operations. Depending on a number of factors, dogs become operational at around 18 months old.”

Rescued Timber Wolf And Bengal Tiger Cubs Are The Best Of Friends

In the wild, wolves and tigers are often mortal enemies, fighting for food and territory.

These two, on the other hand, are the best of friends, especially seeing as they were friends since being only two weeks old.

Rescued and kept together in a South Carolina animal sanctuary to ensure their survival, they are now at the start of their journey as animal ambassadors for T.I.G.E.R.S (The Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species).

The happy-go-lucky pair are unaware that their species are sworn enemies in the wild and love goofing around together.

At three months old, the cubs love hanging out together and even share the same bottles of milk formula.

Despite being a similar age, the wolf cub is about twice the weight of its tiger counterpart at 25lbs.

“At the moment the tigers will have a size and weight disadvantage to their canine friends.”

“So that means that the wolves are a bit pushy with their tiger pals in their shared environment.”

“However, as I am sure you will have guessed, even though the wolves are bigger at three months, after another five months it will be the tigers who will be able to push the wolves around.”

The tiger cub will be expected to weigh at around 250lbs compared to its wolf bestie who will weigh around 180 lbs.

“Even though they will have spent eight months together, after that time they will have to be separated. The size difference and species difference will become apparent.”

“They bonded so well and have become very used to one another.”

“The wolves are a bit bolder than the tigers at the moment, nibbling their ears and playing a bit rougher, but that will change as the tigers grow older and larger.”

“We surround the tigers with cuddly toys so that they can make a nest, and the wolves are always trying to invade and share that space with the tigers.”

“It is heart-warming to watch them now and to think that in a few months time that they will no longer be near to each other. It is quite sad, but they will enjoy their time together.”
